Dr. Veis is a board certified nephrologist at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Her interests include chronic kidney disease, fluid and electrolyte disorders and women's health issues in nephrology. She is a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology. Her training was at the Northwestern University School of Medicine and the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Veis is a past president of Women in Nephrology.
