About me

Kelley Coffman D’Annibale, MD, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified medical oncologist specializing in treating all forms of gastrointestinal cancer. With nearly a decade of experience treating cancer patients, her areas of expertise include hepatocellular carcinoma, cholangiocarcinoma, and gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors.

Dr. Coffman D’Annibale earned her medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. She completed her internal medicine residency at New York University School of Medicine and a fellowship in medical oncology at the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health. Before joining Medstar Georgetown Cancer Institute, she was an attending physician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, treating patients with GI malignancies.

In addition to treating patients, she is an active researcher focused on developing new immunotherapy and cellular therapies for liver and bile duct cancer. Dr. Coffman D’Annibale is a principal investigator for clinical trials at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center and enrolls patients in these trials. She has also served as a senior clinical research fellow at the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health. Her research has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals, and she has presented at national conferences, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer.

When she’s not at work, Dr. Coffman D’Annibale enjoys spending time with her family, the outdoors, and musical theater.
