About me
Lauren Damle, MD, is a board-certified Obstetrician Gynecologist with office locations at the Washington Women’s Wellness Center at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and MedStar Chevy Chase.
Dr. Damle practices general Obstetrics & Gynecology including prenatal care and performs deliveries at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. She provides the full scope of gynecologic care including well woman visits, sexually transmitted infection screening and treatment, contraception including IUDs and contraceptive implants, and sterilization surgeries, management of abnormal pap smears, evaluation and treatment for abnormal periods, fibroids, ovarian cysts, PCOS, and menopause. Additionally, Dr. Damle specializes in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology and provides care to patients of all ages with gynecologic concerns.
Dr. Damle graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and completed her OBGYN training at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. After residency, she completed a fellowship in Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and Children's National Hospital. She is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and has a specialty certification in Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She trains fellows in Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology at Children's National Hospital. Dr. Damle is an active member of the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology and has served as a co-chair of several committees.
Dr. Damle is dedicated to providing exceptional and comprehensive care to her patients and creating a welcoming environment in the office. She partners with her patients to help them make informed decisions about their reproductive health. She strives to provide expert gynecologic care to patients of all ages from childhood through menopause.
