About me
Mana K. Ali Carter, PhD, is a board-certified rehabilitation psychologist at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH). In both inpatient and outpatient medical rehabilitation settings, Dr. Ali Carter conducts psychological assessments and provides interventions aimed to support mood, coping with disabilities, health behaviors (e.g., pain management, sleep hygiene), and overall quality of life.
Dr. Ali Carter is licensed in both Maryland and the District of Columbia. She also serves as the Director of Training for the Rehabilitation and Pain Psychology Fellowship at MedStar NRH and Co-Chair for MedStar National Rehabilitation Network’s Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity Committee.
