About me
Dr. Marcus Noel is a fellowship-trained, board-certified medical oncologist at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine and Director of the Clinical Research Management Office at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
He specializes in the treatment of Gastrointestinal (GI) Cancer. His research efforts focus on novel drug development for pancreatic cancer and well as other gastrointestinal malignancies. He has led and designed numerous clinical trials in GI Cancer.
Dr. Noel also serves as the institutional principial investigator for the Alliance Cooperative group and as Co-PI for the NCORP grant at Lombardi. He is passionate about addressing cancer health disparities and is committed to delivering equal care for all patients.
At the national level he is active on a number of scientific leadership committees for ASCO (American Society of Clinical Society) including the non-colorectal GI track at the ACCO annual meeting and the Ethics Committee.
