Philosophy of care

Regarding patient care, Dr. Patel believes in treating the whole person. Many of her patients have a disease that will be with them for a long time, and it is important to learn their values, desires, and hopes for the future. "I care deeply about my patients and am committed to working closely with them and their families to address not only the disease but also their quality of life," explains Dr. Patel.

"Having lived and practiced in both India and the US, I have seen different approaches and attitudes about patient care. It has helped me to be open-minded, adaptable, and sensitive to different cultures and lifestyles."

When not working, Dr. Patel spends time with her young daughter. She also loves cooking and exploring the cuisine of different cultures, including Indian, Chinese, Thai, and Mexican cuisines. "The best part of cooking is sharing good food with friends and family," she adds. In addition, she has a yoga and meditation practice, inspired by her mother, who is a yoga teacher.

I would recommend Dr. Patel to anyone who needed a good neurologist. She was recommended by my GP when my previous neurologist was unable to offer solutions or suggestions to help me. She was recommend confidently. She is a better partner for improving my health.
