About me
Dr. Park is a board-certified, fellowship-trained gastroenterologist who sees patients for all conditions of the gastrointestinal tract. He has multiple areas of special interest including MASLD (metabolic associated steatotic liver disease), IBD (inflammatory bowel disease), eosinophilic esophagitis, gastric and colon cancer screening, and H pylori associated diseases.
Dr. Park has advanced training in gastric and colon cancer screening from the University of Tokyo Hospital and was the recipient of the CCFA Visiting IBD Fellowship Award where he completed specialized education in inflammatory bowel disease through the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation at Mount Sinai in New York City. He has regularly presented his research at national conferences including the American College of Gastroenterology, Digestive Disease Week, and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases and is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American Gastrointestinal Association.
He received his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed his residency at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Park completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at Brown University – Warren Alpert Medical School in Rhode Island.
Dr. Park is committed to providing comprehensive care to his patients and treating them with respect. He strongly believes that good medicine begins with empathy—understanding the person behind the symptoms, empowering his patients with knowledge and support, and collaborating on care that truly fits their life.
When he’s not working, Dr. Park enjoys running marathons, playing soccer, hiking, and listening to classical music.
