Dr. Choi received her undergraduate degree in public policy from the University of Chicago. She went on to complete her medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine. She then joined MedStar Georgetown as a general psychiatry resident in 2020 and has served as hospital chief resident at MGUH and the VA Medical Center. As a resident, she completed her fellowship program at the Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis. After residency, she stayed at Georgetown to complete her fellowship training in her passion since her MS4 year, Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. We are excited that she will be providing psychiatric care in the Liver Transplant program and on the inpatient psychiatric unit.
