Sofia Rosenblum has over a decade of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, families and groups in community based clinics, private practice, schools, and outpatient behavioral health and psychiatric clinics. She provides psychodynamic psychotherapy for a broad range of issues using a client-centered and humanistic philosophy and engaging with eclectic therapeutic approaches. Themes often focus on depression, anxiety, stress management, pre and postpartum, relationships, self-esteem, family conflict, separation/divorce, life transitions, cross-cultural adjustment, and grief and loss. Sofia has had meaningful experiences working both in DC and abroad with immigrant communities offering individual and group work in Spanish, English and French. At MedStar Georgetown University Hospital's Outpatient Psychiatric clinic, Ms. Rosenblum provides one time diagnostic assessments, short term psychotherapy and group psychotherapy. She is trilingual in English, Spanish and French.
