Originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Erika attended Muhlenberg College for her undergraduate studies and then obtained her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her academic interests include hematology-oncology with a focus on survivorship care, as well as medical education. Outside of the hospital, Erika has traveled to over 20 countries (Denmark is her favorite), and she collects local art on each of her travels. She also enjoys horseback riding, cooking, listening to Crime Junkie podcasts, going to farmers markets, and playing with her family dog, Dylan!
