Problem

Dosing charts for determining the right amount of ibuprofen (Advil and Motrin) or acetaminophen (Tylenol and Pediacare) can be confusing depending on the form of the medication you have (liquid vs pill and infant vs children’s vs adult).  Other dosing charts rely on the caregiver to calculate the dose of the medication based on the weight of the patient, and the strength of the medication.

MInnovation

MedStar Human Factors has designed an easy to understand dosing chart for clinicians and parents to effortlessly calculate the correct dosage of ibuprofen or acetaminophen for children and infants.
