Case Studies

The efforts highlighted here provide examples of our innovation work in recent years. They are categorized by the MedStar Institute for Innovation team that led them and note their implementation phase:

• Active projects are those currently in development or in practice.

• Concluded projects were time-bound, such as events or research grant projects, yet aspects of the work or the results it inspired may continue (e.g., technology tool, other training efforts).

• Reinvented projects provided foundational insights, infrastructure, etc., which were then further adapted and scaled to leverage lessons learned.
