Opportunities to Support Research within the MedStar Health Research Institute

MedStar Health Research Institute (MHRI), the research arm of MedStar Health, is a non-profit organization that conducts groundbreaking translational research across the MedStar Health system. MHRI relies on the support of public and private contributions, including gifts from individuals, and corporate, foundation, and government grants to fulfill its mission to "advance health through research."

We consistently face and meet the challenge of raising funds, through which we are able to enhance and advance medical and scientific research. Your donations will help support and sustain our research efforts.

There are many opportunities to make an investment in the health of our communities through research conducted at MHRI. These include research specific to a certain disease, specific to any MedStar Health hospital, and specific to any of MHRI's scientists and investigators. Other opportunities include:

  • Endowing research programs
  • Promoting research on the delivery of care
  • Upgrading research facilities
  • Training new scientists
  • Tribute gifts
  • Planned giving
