I want to thank all of the labor and delivery nurses and doctor's, as well as postpartum nurses and doctors. Being an employee here at MedStar Southern Maryland I never really considered the hard work and dedication they put in each and every day delivering babies, until they delivered mine! The care I received from everyone was exceptional! I was so overwhelmed!! From the secretaries, food service, and housekeeping everything was perfect! This was my first child and everyone made this the best memory!! I would also like to thank the operating room staff, the whole staff where u worked most of my pregnancy They came together and gave me the baby shower of my dreams , my daughter was truly blessed to have such wonderful coworkers!! They showed me how much they really care!! All of the hospital was so encouraging to me during such a difficult time with the COVID! After being off for two and a half months I was excited to get back to work my second family!! Thank god for MedStar Southern Maryland!!

I am grateful for the continued expertise, professionalism and personality of Dr. Emile Rochon. He is a great primary physician to have. I am also grateful for the staff at the ER and ICU unit at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. May your Thanksgiving and Christmas season be filled with peace, love and joy.

My adventure started with a open wound. I’m type 2 diabetic and have already lost one toe. Nothing to do with MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. After a bunionectomy went wrong I had a open wound. I was referred from Walter Reed National Military Hospital, Dr, Jeremy Dublonk referred me to Dr. Jayson Atves at the Wound Healing Center. I was very impressed with all associates that work with Dr. Atves. They all where very kind and understanding. Dr. Atves did two debridement to my left foot. Then had to close a very large opening on my big toe. I was very afraid I was going to loose another toe. I was very pleased with the Wound Clinic from scheduling to nurse, technicians and Dr. Atves. I cannot say enough about them. And I still have my toe.

Thanks to all the MANY people who have stood by, sustained, protected, and healed us throughout this damnable, crummy, exhausting, and immemorial year.

I am especially grateful for neurosurgeon Dr. Sandhu, who last year removed an unbalanced artificial disc in my neck and implanted a new balanced disc in place of it. He also took care of the problematic level above it with a fusion. I had previously consulted with seven other spine surgeons for the problems in my neck. He understood the problems the best and had the only surgical plan that I felt comfortable with. He is as fearless as a sane person can be!

To Dr. Rudra, Dr. Nayar and each and every assistant, nurse, technician, orderly and everyone that assist me in my health you are my HEROES. I can never repay you for all you do to help me as well as others who truly need you. I'm FOREVER indebted to you.

Thank you to Dr. James Roberson for being the only doctor in 10 years to listen to and believe me when I talk about my issues and for being a problem solver who never gives up. I know that with your help I will get this pain under control and one day- while I might not ever be able to summit a peak again- I believe I will and enjoy hiking. Dr. Roberson I am grateful for you and the care you give every day! My donation to MedStar health is because of you!
