MedStar Health Home Infusion | MedStar Health
A home care nurse assists a patient with an infusion treatment in her home.

High‑quality IV medications and nutrition — delivered safely and seamlessly to patients at home

Health Home Infusion provides sterile‑compounded IV (intravenous) therapies, parenteral nutrition, infusion pumps, and all associated supplies – delivered directly to patients’ homes. Our pharmacy team works seamlessly with each patient’s provider and with MedStar Health Home Care or other home healthcare providers to initiate nursing care and infusion therapy safely in the comfort of home.

We help streamline discharges from the hospital MedStar, reduce avoidable hospitalizations, and support patients who can safely transition to home‑based care.
