Kathleen Sullivan, MSN, RN, RNC-OB is the Director of Women’s Health and Family Birthing Center at MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital. In this role, she serves as nurse leader, provides direct oversight of the associates working in the obstetric field, and maintains accountability for the delivery of nursing services and unit operations.
Sullivan started her healthcare career at MedStar St. Mary’s in 1992, beginning as a clinical nurse, advancing to her current leadership role in 2021. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing and a Master of Science from Capella University with a focus on nursing education.
Sullivan is a member of Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses. She is certified in Inpatient Obstetrics through the National Certification Corporation.
