Sydney Clement, BSN, RN, is the Director of the Intensive Care Center at MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital. In this role, she serves as nurse leader, and maintains accountability for the delivery of nursing services and unit operations.
Clement started as a new-to-practice nurse in 2016 in MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital’s Intensive Care Center. She successively advanced during her tenure as a clinical nurse, serving as both a preceptor and charge nurse, as well as earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from American Public University. In 2022, she served as the Assistant Director in the Intensive Care Center and transitioned into the Director role in 2023.
Clement is currently working toward her Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management from Western Governors University.
