About me

Caitlin S. Zarick, DPM, is a board-qualified reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon and an associate professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Georgetown University.

Dr. Zarick received her undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary and her podiatry degree from Temple University. She completed her three-year surgical residency training at Inova Fairfax Hospital. She then remained in the D.C. metropolitan area for her fellowship training at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital focusing on diabetic limb salvage and research.

Her current practice focuses on all aspects of foot and ankle surgery with an emphasis on reconstructive surgery, diabetic limb salvage, and the management of complex and challenging wounds. She currently sees patients at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.

Dr. Zarick is also actively involved in training residents of the MedStar Washington Hospital Center Podiatric Surgery Residency Program. She is currently the associate program director and teaches residents on a daily basis.  She enjoys teaching the students and residents and is excited about the future of medicine.
