About me
Ms. Williams is a nurse practitioner who works collaboratively with MedStar Health's board-certified gastroenterology physicians, providing comprehensive care to adult patients with a diverse range of gastrointestinal tract disorders. Before joining MedStar Health, she worked at the Center for Advanced Orthopaedics for Orthopaedic Associates of Central Maryland, where she treated patients with various orthopaedic conditions and gained experience in providing acute and chronic pain management solutions. She has also spent several years in the OR at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. Additionally, Ms. Williams is a member and district director for Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Philosophy of care
I strongly believe in the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to patient care in which every provider is an integral member of the patient’s care team and plays a role in the development of customized treatment plans that take into account each individual’s unique needs.
