Dr. Medvedofsky is keen on providing comprehensive clinical cardiac care and echocardiographic imaging to evaluate and guide cardiac structural and surgical interventions for patients in the Washington, DC, area.
His areas of research include three-dimensional (3D) echocardiography, myocardial deformation (strain) analysis, contrast echocardiography, and the role of cardiac imaging in valvular heart disease and heart failure.
Dr. Medvedofsky has published his research on novel approaches to cardiac imaging in more than 60 articles in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography, European Heart Journal, Circulation Cardiovascular Imaging, Journal of Cardiac Failure, Hypertension, Journal of Cardiology, American Journal of Cardiology, International Journal of Cardiovascular Imaging, Echocardiography, Cardiovascular Revascularization Medicine and others. In addition, he reviews manuscripts for many of the top cardiovascular journals.
