About me
Dr. Laura Cowen is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency training in internal medicine at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. She then completed her fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at a combined program between MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Cowen specializes in pituitary disorders, and her clinical interests include diabetes, thyroid and a wide range of other endocrine conditions.
