Saeed A. Alqahtani, MD, FAAN, is a board-certified neurologist at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and MedStar Washington Hospital Center. He is also fellowship-trained in endovascular neurosurgery and vascular neurology. He specializes in the treatment of routine and complex neurovascular conditions including acute strokes and other vascular disorders of the brain. In addition to being a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, he is a member of the American Heart Association, American Stroke Association, American College of Physicians, and the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery.

Dr. Alqahtani’s approach to care centers on helping patients navigate their illnesses by providing reliable education, personalized care plans, and minimally invasive treatments.
