Yasir Al-Khalili, MD, is a neurologist specializing in neuromuscular disease at MedStar Health. A fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, he is board-certified in neurology, clinical neurophysiology, and electrodiagnostic and neuromuscular medicine. Dr. Al-Khalili is a three-time recipient of the Richmond Magazine Top Docs award. His other accolades include Drexel University College of Medicine’s Golden Apple Teaching Award, and the American Academy of Neurology’s A.B. Baker Teacher Recognition Award for excellence in neurology education, of which he is a two-time recipient.
