He has over 10 years of experience in industrial engineering, consulting, project management, process improvement and change management. He most recently spent 2 years with Abarca Health, a Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) company, where he managed multiple process improvement initiatives to promote efficiency and standardization utilizing agile and scrum methodologies.

In 2018 Ken joined the MedStar Family as a Process Improvement Specialist for MedStar Washington Hospital Center where he managed various initiatives to improve the processes and experiences of associates and patients. During this time Ken supported, coached, and mentored associates and leaders on how to identify and implement solutions to promote efficiency and reduce waste using process improvement and change management methodologies. Prior to this Ken worked as a healthcare consultant and internal auditor for Protiviti.

Lastly, Ken is a certified organizational coach and has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez and a Masters in Health Administration from Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Public Health.
