Welcome to the Breast Center at Bel Air
From routine mammography screenings to the detection and treatment of breast cancer, the Breast Center at Bel Air provides all the services a patient may need — in one convenient location.
Our state-of-the-art facility is home to a dedicated nurse navigator and a team of breast cancer experts highly experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with all stages of breast cancer. Every patient's case is reviewed by a multidisciplinary team that includes a medical oncologist, breast surgeon, radiation oncologist, and genetic counselor. These specialists work together to develop an individualized treatment plan for each patient that will deliver the best possible outcomes.
Plus, our nurses and physician assistants are specialty trained to proactively help cancer patients avoid complications and discomfort from symptoms. Patients receiving care at our center are offered a range of amenities that ensure the utmost comfort during treatment including cable TVs, a VCR/DVD option, warm blankets, and complimentary beverages. On-site parking is free.
Our specialists also welcome patients seeking a second opinion. In fact, patients requesting a second opinion are seen within 48 hours, Monday through Friday. This involves having one of our cancer specialists review a patient’s medical reports and test results and then provide a diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Even if a patient has already started or had treatment, it’s not too late to get a second opinion.
