Ambulatory care is a fast-paced, rapidly growing segment of the healthcare industry, and MedStar Health has been a market leader in this area, with a comprehensive, long-term strategy to develop a Distributed Care Delivery Network.
This fellowship provides an exceptional opportunity for eager, young professionals to gain experience in a division with a great deal of activity, change, and exciting work. The fellow will have a unique experience, while being exposed to senior leaders and projects that cover a wide variety of business areas.
The fellow for MedStar Ambulatory Services will be based at MedStar Health’s corporate office in Columbia, MD, however, local travel may be required. The network includes care sites in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia.
MedStar Ambulatory Services is comprised of a network of urgent care centers, multispecialty ambulatory care centers, outpatient surgery centers, radiology services, radiation therapy sites, and retail pharmacies. Additionally, MedStar Ambulatory Services oversees the operations for MedStar eVisit, our virtual visit platform. Leaders in this division work collaboratively with other MedStar Health entity leaders to advance the mission and strategic plan of MedStar Health.
