He is skilled in operational process improvement and performance management, with a strong background in collaborative problem solving, change management, and relationship building. Sonik comes to MedStar Health from the University of Maryland Medical System, where he facilitated several engagements to offer insight into strategic, cost management, and performance improvement. Sonik holds a master’s degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from India and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
