About me
Kara Todd, PA-C, a certified physician assistant, is a member of MedStar Heath’s multidisciplinary team of board-certified gastroenterology physicians and advanced practice providers who evaluate and manage a diverse range of gastrointestinal disorders. Kara sees patients in both acute and outpatient settings.
Her philosophy of care centers on compassion, collaboration, and patient education. She believes in treating the whole person by addressing underlying causes and lifestyle factors that impact digestive health. She aims to create a supportive, judgment-free space where patients feel empowered to actively participate in their care. Kara is committed to providing individualized, and thoughtful, evidence-based treatment that supports both immediate needs and long-term wellness.
Kara earned her master’s degree from the University of Maryland School of Graduate Studies, her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a certificate in physician assistant studies from Anne Arundel Community College.
