Dr. Landon Mueller is a dual board-certified physician in sports medicine and emergency medicine with MedStar Health. He earned undergraduate degrees in biology and biochemistry from the University of Alabama, followed by his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University, and his fellowship training in primary care sports medicine at MedStar Health Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center.
Dr. Mueller is deeply involved in medical education and mentorship, training the next generation of emergency and sports medicine physicians. He serves as Program Director for the primary care sports medicine fellowship at MedStar Health and as Special Activities Director for the MedStar Health Georgetown University Emergency Medicine Residency. He also holds the academic title of Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine.
Dr. Mueller believes in the transformative power of movement, exercise, and sport. He is passionate about helping individuals return to the activities they love—whether they’re professional athletes, weekend warriors, or simply striving for a more active, pain-free lifestyle.
