Mark Iguchi, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon with nearly 20 years of clinical neurosurgical experience here in the Baltimore area. At MedStar Health, he offers a full range of consultative and surgical services for general neurosurgery. Dr. Iguchi enjoys general neurosurgery and specializes in spine surgery, performing both traditional open spinal surgery along with minimally invasive and microsurgical operative approaches. Dr. Iguchi specializes treatment for spinal disorders associated with herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, prior surgeries, instability, spinal cord compression, spinal stenosis and nerve compression. He sees patients in Pikesville, Timonium, and at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center.

Dr. Iguchi earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin, after attending college in California and an initial career in Finance. Dr Iguchi trained in Neurological Surgery at the University of Maryland / Shock Trauma Center. Prior to joining MedStar Health, Dr. Iguchi was a neurosurgeon at Greater Baltimore Medical Center and served as a clinical Instructor for the University of Maryland Neurosurgery Department.

Dr. Iguchi was recently voted as a “Top Doctor” by Baltimore Magazine. He is a fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
