Advancing community-based clinical research across the MedStar Health System
MedStar Health conducts community-based clinical research across multiple locations, including MedStar Washington Hospital Center, MedStar Primary Care in Hyattsville, MedStar Montgomery Medical Center, MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital, MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, and MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. Our studies primarily focus on diabetes and related cardiovascular outcomes, chronic kidney disease (CKD), and weight-loss interventions for patients with or without diabetes. We are also expanding our portfolio in wound care, with one study currently enrolling and three additional trials launching soon. In addition, our team supports a long-standing pediatric neonatal study at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, now entering its third year.
