Dr. Yahia Tagouri is a Pathologist with 29 years of experience in his field. He is the current Chief of Medical Staff at MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital, providing clinical leadership oversight of all the medical staff. Dr. Tagouri earned his Doctor of Medicine from The Arab Medical University in Libya and holds an Executive Master of Clinical, Quality, Safety & Leadership from Georgetown University. In addition to his role on MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital’s Board of Directors, he is a member of the College of American Pathologists, American Medical Association, American Society of Clinical Pathologists, International Association of Pathology, Renal Pathology Society, and the Society of Ultrastructural Pathology. Dr. Tagouri is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and is a board-certified diplomat of the Federation Licensing Exam.
