Directed by Richard T. Benson, MD, PhD, and Rocca A. Armonda, MD, from MedStar Washington Hospital Center, this one-and-a-half day symposium will equip health care providers with practical, evidence-based knowledge for early stroke identification, evaluation, treatment, transport, and management.
Through lectures, interactive sessions, and open discussions, this conference will explore the critical issues surrounding the assessment and management of stroke patients. Additionally the course will review recent AHA/ASA acute ischemic stroke guidelines, cutting-edge interventions, treatment recommendations, and research.
