Spring into Action Community Food Drive

Fill the helicopter and ambulance with food donations and meet members of the MedSTAR Transport team.

When every second counts, the MedSTAR Transport team is there—on the ground and in the air. This spring, they’re taking that same lifesaving spirit into the community by hosting a community food drive at Leonardtown High School.

Neighbors are invited to donate non-perishable food items and enjoy a rare, up-close look inside a MedSTAR Transport helicopter and ambulance. It’s a chance to support local families in need, meet the team behind the missions, and see how lifesaving care takes flight—all in one unforgettable day.

Donations to the event will help support the Healthy Food Pantry at MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital, which serves patients with food insecurities, and Feed St. Mary’s, a community-supported food bank.
