Infant and Child First Aid

This class prepares parents, daycare providers and loved ones to act in response to a variety of urgent situations that require First Aid such as wound care, shock, burns, sprains & fractures, allergic reactions, seizures, and many more.

We offer the National Safety Council Infant and Child CPR and First Aid courses which cover infants and children 1 to 8 years of age. This National Safety Council class meets the state requirements for daycare providers.

Discounts are available for MedStar Health Associates, MedStar Family Choice, Military with spouse deployed, and other Medical Assistance participants. Please call 888-746-2852 for discount information.

If interested in taking both Infant and Child CPR and First Aid, a discount applies, please call.

Fee: $48.00 per person if taking Infant Child First Aid only. $80.00 (discounted rate) per person if taking both Infant and Child First Aid and Infant and Child CPR together.

Class will be held in the Community Wellness Center on the 3rd floor. Please enter the hospital through the Garden Entrance. Take 1st elevator on the left to the third floor.
