Aakriti Arora, MBBS, MD, is a hematologist oncologist who specializes in solid tumors and benign blood disorders. Dr. Arora looks beyond a single result to help identify options that are informed, appropriate, and grounded in hope. Dr. Arora begins by listening to the patient, then reviewing the referral, medical history, and tests already completed. She brings together findings from imaging, pathology, blood work, and the patient’s own experience to identify how the information may shape the next step. If more detail can help guide the plan, Dr. Arora may discuss additional testing such as molecular profiling, a lab test that looks for specific genes, proteins, or other markers in tissue or blood.
