Cassandra Lawrence, MSN, RN, serves as Senior Nursing Director, Perioperative Services.
Cassandra Lawrence, MSN, RN has worked in Perioperative Services at MedStar Washington Hospital Center since 2003, and was appointed Senior Nursing Director for Perioperative Services in 2020. Her 17 years in Perioperative Services included nursing director of the Admissions Testing Center and Same Day Surgery Unit and director of the Third Floor Operating Rooms. She has served on MedStar Health Nursing committees and councils and was in the inaugural class of MedStar Health’s Nursing Leadership Development Program. Prior to working for MedStar Health, Lawrence worked at the Columbia Hospital for Women in Washington, D.C.,
Lawrence received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Howard University and her Master’s in Nursing Administration from George Mason University. She is a member of the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN).
