We are one one of the most experienced, surgically-based wound care teams in the United States, leading to a high limb-saving success rate. Our surgeons evaluate and treat more than 20,000 patients every year. When nonsurgical approaches don't result in complete healing, our patients benefit from seeing the same doctors who perform advanced limb-saving surgeries in our familiar office. In addition, we work closely with our colleagues at MedStar Health's Wound Healing Institute at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital and MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore. Because all of these doctors and services are integrated into the same program, you can expect seamless, coordinated care for all of your needs.
Our experts are known internationally for their expertise in plastic, vascular, and podiatric reconstructive procedures. Our doctors regularly present on diabetic limb salvage surgery at lectures worldwide. In addition, they are actively involved in clinical research, publishing more than 50 wound-related papers and manuscripts each year.
