About me
As a Board Certified/Board eligible critical care physician, all conditions requiring intensive care in the medical, surgical, or neurosciences ICU are treated.
Dr. Choi completed medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine followed by an internship at Lankenau Hospital, Bala Cynwyd, PA, Neurology residency at Brown University and a fellowship in Neurocritical Care at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is board certified in Neurology and Neurocritical Care and joined Medstar Franklin Square in 2025 as a neurointensivist, where he currently practices in the Neurocritical Care unit.
Dr. Choi has multiple publications and is interested in management of intracerebral hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage and acute stroke management. He is also passionate about medical education and is the Social Media editor for the Neurocritical Care Journal. Dr. Choi is also active at the national level, where he has been chair of the Ethics and Marketing and Telecommunications Committees of the Neurocritical Society.
