The MedStar Health Rheumatology Fellowship Program accepts two fellows annually.
Applicants must have completed a residency in internal medicine in the United States or Canada and must be Board-eligible or Board-certified in internal medicine.
All applicants must apply and submit supporting documents through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). One of the three letters of recommendation must be from the internal medicine residency program director.
We are accepting applications for fellowships in ERAS.
Foreign medical graduates should refer to the Hospital Center's visa policy for more information.
While not mandatory, we recommend you complete a clinical or research elective with us to be competitive for a fellowship position in our program. If this is logistically difficult, please contact us to discuss options.
