Our wound clinic at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center offers access to research-backed wound healing for patients living or working in eastern Baltimore County. Here, you'll find:

  • 6 comfortable exam rooms where you’ll be thoroughly evaluated and treated by experts in podiatry, vascular surgery, plastic surgery, and geriatrics

  • A nationally-recognized diabetes education program that empowers patients to manage diabetes and prevent wounds co-located within the same clinic

  • Ultrasonic wound treatment, a gentle approach to cleansing chronic wounds and stimulating healing with less pain than traditional debridement

  • A dedicated ostomy clinic with nurses who work collaboratively with your surgeon and doctor to help you care for your colostomy or urostomy

  • Specialized medical staff onsite, including a physical therapist, medical assistants, and nurses certified in wound care
