Lauren Burr, BSN, RN, is the Interim Director of Nursing Resources at MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital. In this role, she serves as nurse leader, and maintains direct oversight of the clinical administrators, nursing float pool, staffing office, bed capacity management, and agency supplemental staffing.
Lauren began her tenure at MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital in 2015 as a float pool clinical nurse in Nursing Resources. In 2016, she began practicing as a critical care nurse in the Intensive Care Center and advanced by serving as a nurse preceptor and charge nurse. In 2021, she expanded her leadership by assuming the role of Clinical Administrator in Nursing Resources. In 2023, she grew her career as a nurse leader by assuming the role of Assistant Director in Nursing Resources and transitioned into the Interim Director role in 2025.
Lauren obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University in 2019 and is currently working toward her Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management.
