Pooja Rao, MD, joins MedStar Health as a neurologist and assistant professor for the department of Neurology. Board certified in internal medicine, neurology, neurophysiology, and electrodiagnostic medicine, Dr. Rao has a special interest in research trials for neuromuscular disorders and genemodifying therapies. In her clinical practice, she is committed to embodying the cura personalis philosophy of treating the whole person.
