At MedStar Health Gastroenterology at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital, our specialists provide compassionate, patient-focused care for a wide range of digestive health issues. We treat disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, and rectum, including colorectal cancer and other digestive system conditions.
Our gastroenterologists use state-of-the-art technology to evaluate symptoms and create treatment plans tailored to each patient. Most procedures are performed on site or at one of our ambulatory surgical centers. For added convenience, consultations are also available at our satellite clinics in Towson, Bel Air, and North Parkville.
In collaboration with MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, just three miles away, we support community health initiatives. This includes participation in the Colon Cancer Screening Program, funded by the Maryland Department of Health and the Cigarette Restitution Fund. The program provides free colonoscopies, fecal tests, and treatment services to low-income, uninsured, or underinsured adults living in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Anne Arundel County.
