Why choose us

At MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, our gastroenterology team treats a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions including but not limited to esophageal disorders, stomach and small bowel conditions, colonic disorders and colorectal cancers, and other diseases that involve the digestive system.

Our state-of-the-art practice puts patient needs first using an approach to care that focuses on listening to better understand each patients specific concerns in order to identify the best treatment options. At the same time, we strive to provide the highest-quality, safest, and most cost-effective services using the latest tools and technology. Procedures can be performed on site or at one of our ambulatory surgical centers and consultations are available through our satellite clinics in Towson, Bel Air, and North Parkville.

To ensure area residents have access to the care they need, we conduct extensive community outreach working in partnership with MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital, just three miles away. This includes participating in the Colon Cancer Screening program, a grant program funded by the Maryland Department of Health and the Cigarette Restitution Fund that provides no-cost colonoscopies, fecal immunochemical tests, and diagnostic and treatment services to low income, uninsured, and underinsured men and women living in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Anne Arundel County.
