At MedStar Health Gastroenterology at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, our gastroenterologists provide comprehensive care for digestive issues. We diagnose and treat conditions affecting the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, and rectum, including colorectal cancer and other digestive system disorders.
Our team takes a patient-first approach, listening closely to your concerns and using the latest diagnostic tools to design treatment plans that meet your needs. Most procedures can be performed on site or at one of our ambulatory surgical centers. Consultations are also available at satellite clinics in Towson, Bel Air, and North Parkville for added convenience.
We partner with MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital to conduct community outreach, including the Colon Cancer Screening Program, funded by the Maryland Department of Health and the Cigarette Restitution Fund. This program provides free colonoscopies, fecal tests, and treatment services to low-income, uninsured, or underinsured adults living in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Anne Arundel County.
