The Family Health Center at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is a primary care center that provides personalized, comprehensive care for your entire family. Being part of the Family Health Center offers convenient access to sought-after physicians, state-of-the-art technology, and treatment.
We are staffed with expert physicians and nurses who are trained in a broad range of areas including adult medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopaedics, gynecology, obstetrics, surgery, behavioral health, and minor office-based procedures.
The center is unique in that it not only offers full-time faculty physicians, but resident physicians as well through its Family Medicine Residency program. As a patient, this means you will receive more time and personal attention for your health condition, ensuring the best outcome.

Hypertension Remote Patient Monitoring
Take control of your blood pressure with support from our hypertension remote patient monitoring program. In partnership with ChronicCareIQ, this program connects patients with chronic hypertension to a dedicated care team that helps monitor blood pressure readings and develop a personalized care plan.
Using your existing blood pressure monitor—or one provided through the program—you can track your health from the comfort of home while receiving ongoing guidance and support. Together, we’ll help you manage you blood pressure, reduce your risk of complications, and stay focused on the activities you enjoy most.

Our integrated behavioral health program supports your mental and emotional well-being through a collaborative care approach. Embedded within primary care, patients have access to a dedicated care team, including primary care providers, behavioral health specialists, and consulting psychiatrists, working together to provide coordinated, whole-person care.

Appointments are accepted during the following hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (Urgent Care Only)
