MedStar Montgomery Medical Center has received the Get With The Guidelines®–Heart Failure Gold-Plus Quality Achievement Award for its outstanding efforts in managing patients experiencing heart failure.

MedStar National Rehabilitation Network/Georgetown University Rehabilitation Residents recently celebrated their time with the network during the annual Medical Staff Banquet and Residents Awards dinner on Friday, June 10, 2016.

Barbara S. Bregman, PhD, senior research scientist and director of education and training with MedStar NRH Research Division, and a professor in the Departments of Neuroscience and Rehabilitation Medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center and the Center for Brain Plasticity at Georgetown University, is the recipient of the 28th Annual John W. Goldschmidt Award.

MedStar Union Memorial Hospital has been honored with the 2016 “Partner for Change” award.

The hospital brought home two awards from the Practice Greenhealth Environmental Excellence Awards.

The award recognizes the hospital’s commitment and success in ensuring that stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized guidelines based on the latest scientific evidence.
