The purpose of the PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency Program is to prepare new pharmacists for patient care positions in a healthcare system environment, academic faculty positions, or PGY-2 training in their area of choice.

Pharmacy Residency Program Description

  • Number of positions: 2
  • Application deadline: submitted by January 1
  • Residency period: July 1 through June 30
  • Estimated stipend: $48,000
  • Interview required: Yes
  • Benefits:
    • Full benefits package (health, dental, vision)
    • 21 paid sick/vacation days, 1 personal day per six months, 7 paid holidays
    • Full reimbursement for major pharmacy conferences (ASHP and Eastern States)
    • Parking paid by the Pharmacy Department
