Isha Choudhary, MD

Hometown: Salisbury, MD
College: Salisbury University
Medical School: Georgetown University School of Medicine
Interests within Family Medicine: Global health, preventive medicine, women’s health, community medicine
Why I chose Georgetown/Providence Family Medicine: As a graduate from Georgetown University School of Medicine, I felt right at home during my 4th year internship at the program. All of the residents seemed so content here and were so efficient and confident in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. I was especially impressed by how involved and committed the faculty were to the program. The largely underserved patient population that Ft. Lincoln and Providence Hospital serve also drew me to the program. Overall, Georgetown/Providence Family Medicine had the happy residents, strong faculty, organized curriculum, and the location that I wanted!
