Our outpatient therapy location at MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital offers comprehensive physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy for patients. Our experienced and compassionate therapists work with you and your physician to develop an individual treatment plan to help get you back to the activities you enjoy as quickly and safely as possible.

Monday to Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Robin R. Remaly PT, MPT, MSEd
Robin holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, followed by a Master of Science in Education from Baylor University, in Exercise Physiology… She later earned her Master of Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and has been a practicing clinician for over 30 years. In addition to her academic training, she has also completed a 500-hour yoga teacher certification through the Asheville Yoga Center, with additional specialized training in Yin yoga. Robin’s professional focus includes advanced education in pelvic health physical therapy, allowing her to provide comprehensive, individualized care that integrates movement science, rehabilitation, and holistic wellness.

Dana Oliver, PTA, PORI Certified Cancer Rehabilitation Therapist
Dana Oliver is a Physical Therapist Assistant who received her Associate of Applied Science Degree from the College of Southern Maryland in May 2006.
Dana holds her certification in Cancer Rehabilitation, with interests in Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Rehabilitation.
Her rehab expertise includes:
- Cancer Rehabilitation, which includes cancer-related fatigue, balance issues, and weakness
- Orthopedic injuries and conditions
- Neck and back pain
- Knee, foot, and ankle therapy

Nicole Spadavecchia, OTR/L, CLT, LGPC
Nicole Spadavecchia is an Occupational Therapist who has been with MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital since 2001. Originally from New York, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from York College. She also completed her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Nicole is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist with specialized training in oncology rehabilitation and cancer care.
At MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital, Nicole provides care across acute inpatient, outpatient, and behavioral health settings. She serves as a new hire and student mentor, as well as a clinical instructor, and is passionate about fostering professional growth in the field of Occupational Therapy. In addition, she provides counseling services outside MedStar Health to adults in the community.
Her rehabilitation expertise includes:
- Breast cancer and oncology rehabilitation
- Head and neck cancer rehabilitation
- Upper and lower extremity lymphedema, including head, neck, and genital lymphedema
- Psychosocial support and counseling
- Custom upper extremity static splinting
- Activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) training
- Strength, range of motion, and dexterity deficits
- Adaptive equipment training and ergonomic assessment
- Wheelchair evaluations, including physical, functional, and environmental assessment in collaboration with a Certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP)

Jan Watson, COTA/L, CLT
Jan attended Allegany College of Maryland, where she received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant. Jan joined MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital in July 2012. She is a certified lymphedema therapist and certified in physical modalities.
Her rehab expertise includes:
- Inpatient, outpatient, and behavioral health therapy
- Neurologic conditions
- Custom wrist and hand splints
- Orthopedic upper body conditions: shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand.

Candace Smith, M.A., SLP-CF
Candace earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences and her Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Candace's rehabilitation specialties include:
